A quince offered in friendship travelled with the artist from London to Hanoi, where an encounter with Vietnamese lacquer reshaped its material language. Through layers of pigment and silver leaf, the fruit becomes a reflective surface of exchange, carrying traces of friendship, culture and shared making.
